5/28 – Update on Health Measures at Fairbrae

posted in: General | 0

We’re writing with an update to the public health measures required at Fairbrae.

Thank you for all of your patience and cooperation over the past year. Your commitment to following the rules has helped us keep the club open and available for member use under county guidelines.  Per updated state and county guidelines, we can now move the responsibility of keeping members safe to the members themselves.

In alignment with the latest public health guidelines,  effective immediately,  Fairbrae will be lifting masking and distancing restrictions for vaccinated individuals. Per state policy, unvaccinated members should still wear masks if social distancing cannot be maintained, and all members can still choose to wear masks if that makes them more comfortable.

At this time, we are not making immediate changes to the swim, picnic table, table tennis, playground and tennis reservation systems.  Members of the same household can swim together in a lane (up to 6 people) so consider signing up as a family to enjoy some rec-swim time.   Re-opening of the club’s social activities and any associated adjustments to the reservation systems is a work in progress, so please stay tuned for further updates.

Updated on 5/30- Staff will no longer be sanitizing each hour.

We will continue to update these policies in alignment with county and state guidelines. We also anticipate further easing of restrictions starting June 15.
